01

Applying for a Concealed Handgun Permit

The Judge has granted me the authority to issue concealed handgun permits which allows for a quicker process and better service for you.

02

03

Buying or selling your house

The Clerk's Office is the place where the deed to your house is recorded. Having a Clerk that you can trust to protect your records is invaluable. Our office has multiple offsite backups of your electronic records and in addition a microfilm backup at the Library of Virginia.

When a loved one dies

The Clerk admits wills to record and qualifies executors and administrators for all estates in Dinwiddie County. Having a courteous and knowledgeable clerk is very helpful in a difficult time. We have reduced the time to qualify on an estate from 1 hour to less than 30 minutes.

Looking up your deed or plat

If you ever need to locate your deed or plat we are here to help. The record room can be intimidating if you are not familiar with it and we are here to serve.

05

Applying for a Marriage License

We have implemented a marriage kiosk for quicker service. Our office allows for one applicant to apply by affidavit if they are unable to come to office during business hours.

When you are called for Jury Duty

Not everyone likes being called for jury duty but having an efficient check in and notification system, lets you know that we value your time and service.

My staff and I want to give everyone the same friendly service. If you are in to setup a payment plan for your fines and costs or if you filing a name change or civil suit. We are here to serve all citizens.
